One of a Kind Vintage Pillows

As you know, I (Michelle) love textile especially vintage fabrics. I am fascinated in the history of the fabric where it has been, who used the fabric and what it meant to them. With this particular fabric how well the person slept.

Yes, our pillow ticking pillows are one of a kind that have history. Unfortunately we do not have all the stories connected with these pillow casings. We know some came from grandmother’s house and some possibly from a family cottage. Oh what dreams were dreamt on these pillows? What stories these pillows hold? If only they could whisper the memories.

Maybe one of these pillows brings back warm and eventful memories of your past.  A rose colour pillow case brings back memories of a visit at an aunt’s house where she would bake your favorite cherry pie. Or a favorite pillow you had that shared/absorbed your laughs or tears. It has been hard for me to share these pillows because they become very sentimental to me. But they made me happy and if they can bring joy to some one for the very same reason I glad to give them to a happy home.

The vintage pillow casings are gently used material and are triple washed with biodegradable soap. The Thelma Bob silk screen owl is on the pillow ticking side reversed to organic cotton fabric. Zipper closure for hand washing.
