Bread Box and Pillow Creations

These are two of the creations from Thelma Bob Discoveries. This bread box was a find from a local thrift store. It was in pretty rough shape but its retro vibe appealed to our senses. Michelle took on the project of bringing new life to an old household accessory. First she chose a peach colour paint that added a touch of warmth and brightness. To add some flare, Michelle and Laura used a pattern technique of hand stenciling. The white filigree brings a sense of uniqueness that makes this item a special addition to a kitchen or any other room where additional storage is required. While searching through our product, Michelle spotted two pillows that complimented the colours of the bread box. The fabric used for these pillows also has a retro ambience about it. I'm sure that many of you remember this type of pattern if you grew up in the seventies. The burst of colourful flowers brings a sense of fun to these accessories. These synthetically filled pillows can add a spice of life to any couch, chair or bed. The pillow covers can be hand washed to rejuvenate their beauty.
