Finally, we were able to proudly present Thelma Bob Discoveries talent in creating one of a kind textile and furniture pieces of art. Melissa also showed her great talent of capturing the beauty of Ontario through her photography. This is the start of Thelma Bob Discoveries displayed into the physical world. If one measured success by monetary value then we had a small success but if one measured it by the great feedback then we had great success. Many people gave great compliments and thought we brought something different and new to the show. Yes, some people were not interested in our items and that is fine. "You can't be for everyone".We handed out postcards, business cards, and pamphlets to all who passed by and we had moments to meet the other vendors to create new networks.

One thing more before in closing, I like to mention and thank a friend who if we didn't reconnect Thelma Bob Discoveries would not have gone to this event and perhaps it was the shove we needed. I hope she doesn't mind if I mention her name but Susan Moy was a great source of wisdom. Susan also an entrepreneur, she creates monogrammed items such as bags, pillows and aprons. Her company name is Moy Moy and her site is www.moymoy.ca .We have been friends for many many years (19 to be exact) we had lost touch but we recently reconnected and we just picked up as if it were yesterday.

Great things did happen during this event. The venue may not have been the exact match for us but we did receive some sales and many compliments by those who stopped by our booth. We found out what people liked. We learned lessons from this experience and are looking forward to future shows. We would like to thank all those who came out and supported us. We also appreciate those who saw our vision in celebrating Southern Ontario and commended us on our efforts. This was a stepping stone to our adventurous future.
